Please visit the tournament facebook page Facebook.  We would like to encourage as many clubs as possible to upload photographs of your club qualifying round winners and details about your day – make it as much fun as possible!

ALL PLAYERS WILL BE ENTERED INTO A FREE PRIZE DRAW (see information pack for details) to win a fantastic VIP trip to PING Europe HQ including a custom fit set of PING clubs, overnight accommodation and a round of golf for 4!

Change for 2012 – Distance measuring devices will be allowed in all rounds of the tournament.  A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only.  If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might effect her play (e.g gradient, windspeed, temperature, etc), The player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.
Note: a) Trolleys with a distance-measuring capability may be used provided any other feature, which are non-conformimg, are disabled (e.g taped up or switched off).
b) A multi-functional device, such as a smartphone or PDA, may be used as a distance measuring device provided it contains a distance measuring application that meets all of the above limitations (i.e it must measure distance only).  In addition, when the distance measuring application is being used, there must be no other feature or applications installed on the device that, if used, would be in breach of the Rules, whether or not they are actually used.**

**EWGA’s advice on the use of a mobile phone as a distance-measuring device: As particular phones do not conform to the conditions above, to protect players from the risk of disqualification, the EWGA strongly recommends that mobile phones are not used as distance-measuring devices.
